INFO:
To breastfeed your baby, hold them in a cradle position with one arm supporting their head and the other under their bottom. You should also place a pillow behind your baby’s back to bring them up towards your body. Once you’re in position, hold your breast between the thumb and fingers of your hand that was supporting the baby’s bottom, and tilt their head back slightly with your other hand. Then, brush their mouth with your nipple, which will encourage them to open their mouth wide. As soon as they open their mouth, point your nipple towards the top of their mouth and bring your baby towards you. If they’re latched on correctly, you’ll feel a tugging sensation as they feed.
